The European Control Association (EUCA) is promoting a new “European Control Award” to recognize outstanding contributions by a young researcher in the area of systems and control.
The award is sponsored by the European Control Association (EUCA), and will be presented during the annual European Control Conference. The recipient will give a plenary lecture during the final day of the ECC 2018.
We encourage all contributors to the conference to identify and to promote potential candidates for the European Control Award 2018. Details of this award and the nomination procedure can be found here.
Nominations for the 2018 award must be submitted electronically to the EUCA secretary by extended deadline of November 30th, 2017 (firstname.lastname@example.org).
The nomination application package must include:
- A motivation letter from the nominator,
- The completed award nomination form, and
- Three supporting letters. The nominator and the authors of the supporting letters must not be members of the EUCA Council.
The committee then selects one candidate and one alternate, who are submitted to the EUCA Council for approval.
